J. P. GRIFFIN, INC. employee turnover rate is virtually nil. Some of the reasons for our very low turn over is that J. P. Griffin, Inc. provides an excellent benefit package to each employee that includes group health benefits, 100% company funded profit sharing pension plan, life insurance, paid vacation, holidays, sick leave, company uniforms, annual performance bonuses, employee educational and training programs.
Our office and accounting staff are well versed in the proper billing procedures, i.e.; AIA Invoices, Schedule of Values, Certificates for Payments, Time and Material billing procedures and Monthly Progress Billing procedures.
Good technicians are hard to find so our philosophy is to make our own! We provide excellent in-house training programs coupled with field training and a “hands on” learning approach. J. P. Griffin, Inc. has also teamed with the RACCA (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association) Apprenticeship Program and encourages each new employee to attend this four- year program at no charge to the employee. The program consists of 624 classroom hours and 8,000 on-the-job (OJT) hours. Once the program is completed the student is recognized as a Journeyman in residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning service and installation.
Apprenticeship programs are offered to new J. P. Griffin, Inc. employees.
Currently J. P. Griffin, Inc. has six employees enrolled in the RACCA Apprentice Program. These young employees are the future of our organization, an investment in the future.
